Gravity Gains Promising New Contracts In Australia And New Zealand

June 07, 2018

Melbourne, Australia – Gravity Supply Chain, the rapidly growing start-up that has developed a cloud-based supply chain management platform for logistics service providers, retailers and manufacturers, today announced further growth in the Australian and New Zealand market. The company has secured three new contracts with logistics service providers, including: KTL Australia and Go Logistics (New Zealand).

Both companies will deploy two of the Gravity’s solutions —the white-label Purchase Order Management software and recently launched Shipment Tracking software to support their respective business growth and deliver real-time supply chain and logistics visibility propositions.

“To be able to provide the best, we know that we need to be constantly evolving to stay ahead of the market,” said Rick Tankir, Owner, KTL Australia. “We discovered the Gravity software at a wonderfully serendipitous moment in time where we recognised a need to incorporate an integrated system which could support the needs of our current clients and also increaseour marketability, attractiveness to potential clients, and wins for coveted project tenders.”

“We place a great deal of importance on the strength of our relationships with our clients and our ability to provide a highly customised service. Incorporating the Gravity platform provides us with the technological solutions to deliver more visibility and efficiency to our clients and to provide a service that exceeds upon existing supply chain management solutions,” Tankir added.

“Further developing our Australian and New Zealand business is a key objective in 2018 and I am delighted to welcome our newest users to the global Gravity community,” said Darren Palfrey, COO, Gravity Supply Chain. “We continue to be delighted that such innovative international logistics providers in the region choose to work with us. The deployment of our Shipment Tracking and Purchase Order Management solutions supports these logistics providers with their value proposition and customer service.”

Delivered as one integrated platform, the Gravity Shipment Tracking software for logistics service providers offers real-time multimodal shipment tracking and exception management, with the Purchase Order Management software delivering additional functionality, including vendor management and advanced visibility into the end-to-end supply chain.

In April of this year Gravity announced it secured new contracts across the European market. You can view the announcement on the Gravity website here.
